MappX Support

Account Management

  • Sign up & Log in: Learn how to create an account, log in, and recover your password.
  • Delete your account: To delete your account, open the MappX app, go to SettingsDelete Account. Follow the instructions to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
  • Block or unblock a user: Go to SettingsBlocked Users to manage your block list.

Privacy & Security

  • Manage your privacy settings: Control who can see your posts and profile in the app’s Privacy section.
  • Data & permissions: Learn about location, camera, and photo permissions in our Privacy Policy.

Comments & Social Features

  • Report inappropriate comments or content: Tap the three dots (⋮) next to any comment or post, select Report, and choose the reason for reporting. Our moderation team will review your report within 24 hours.
  • Turn off comments on your posts: When creating a post or editing an existing one, toggle the Allow Comments switch to disable comments. You can change this setting at any time.
  • Delete comments on your posts: Long-press on any comment on your post and select Delete. Once deleted, comments cannot be recovered.
  • Manage who can comment on your posts: Go to SettingsPrivacyComments to choose who can comment on your posts: Everyone, People You Follow, or Followers Only.

Safety & Reporting

  • Report abuse or spam: To report abusive behavior or spam, go to the user's profile, tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner, and select Report User. You can also report specific content by tapping the three dots on any post or comment and selecting Report.
  • What happens after I report something? Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. If we find the content violates our Community Guidelines, we'll take appropriate action, ranging from removing the content to suspending the user's account. We don't disclose the identity of users who submit reports.
